Copper alloy bridle-bit. Complete. Irish type, with solid-cast side-links in profile, sharply bowed on the underside.
Rings oval in section. Pegged-in stop-studs of flattened-dome-shaped profile, worn to a D-shaped outline. Tiny dot-in-circle motif at centre of each. Exceptionally severe wear on ring pivots. Side-links sold and pear-shaped in section. Simple design on upper surface of each, comprising cast, concave-sided elongated lozenge motif.
